MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Democratic nominee for Vice President will be back in Northeast Wisconsin on Monday.
Gov. Tim Walz will be in Manitowoc Monday for an event at 10:30 a.m. to encourage supporters to vote early for Democrats, according to the Harris/Walz campaign.
The campaign says Walz will arrive at Austin Straubel International Airport in the morning and make their way to Manitowoc.
After Manitowoc, Walz will fly to Milwaukee’s Mitchell International Airport and make his way to a campaign event in Waukesha at 2 p.m. trying to get supporters to the polls before Election Day on November 5.
Waukesha Mayor Shawn Reilly recently endorsed Kamala Harris for president. The once long-time Republican and current independent announced this is his first endorsement of a Democrat, citing concerns over Donald Trump’s leadership.
Walz’ visit comes as Republican Vice Presidential nominee JD Vance is scheduled to be in Racine for an event Monday evening.
