MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Jesse Vang’s preliminary hearing for charges related to the death of Elijah Vue will be held Nov. 6, a court said Thursday.
Vang, 39, faces four counts, including physical abuse of a child – repeated acts causing death, and hiding a corpse for the death of the 3-year-old boy. Vue’s mother, Katrina Baur, is also charged in the case.
Vang was appointed attorneys on the case earlier this week, and they asked for time to meet with Vang before the hearing.
Baur waived her preliminary hearing Monday. She returns to court Oct. 30 for an arraignment.
