GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A woman charged after secret recordings of teenager were found was convicted Wednesday and sentenced to nine months in jail on charges not specifically related to the nude recordings.
Samantha Trebilcock, 38, pleaded no contest Wednesday to four misdemeanor counts, including contributing to the delinquency of a child for the 2021 incidents at a Lawrence home. Felony counts of child enticement and child sexploitation, among others, were dismissed.
Trebilcock was also placed on probation for three years by Judge Timothy Hinkfuss.
Before the sentence was issued, Trebilcock apologized for her actions.
Trebilcock’s boyfriend, Michael Cannell, was sentenced to five years in federal prison for possession of child pornography for his role in the case. Trebilcock was not charged in connection with those photos.
According to the complaint, the 16-year-old was secretly recorded while nude in a bathroom by Cannell. Trebilcock, a family friend of the victim, brought her to the home, but the defense rejected the suggestion it was intentionally for improper purposes.
The contributing to the delinquency charges related to the minor being provided alcohol and a topless photo with the girl.
