TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Saturday was all things apple in Two Rivers for the 40th annual Applefest.
Everything from bushels of apples, to caramel apples to apple cider was enjoyed by hundreds of community members at Saturday’s event, which is hosted by the Rotary Club of Two Rivers.
“We’ve got vendors, two blocks full of vendors, lots of stuff for the kids, and apples, apples, apples,” says Rick Inman, the event’s co-chair.
Along with apples, the event offers a pancake breakfast, live music, food trucks, arts and craft booths and plenty of events for kids.
Inman says this year was a success, and attendance has been growing in recent years, along with interest from vendors.
“We expanded our area this year, we added another block and if it continues to grow, we’ll add a third block if we need to. We’ll grow with the show,” Inman adds.
