GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The first of four suspects arrested in connection with a Berner Street murder was charged Friday, but the criminal complaint was sealed, so no details about the allegations were released.
Dion Richardson, 18, faces three counts, including being party to first-degree intentional homicide for Aug. 7 death of Brandon Ramirez.
Court records reference “intercepted wire communications” as the reason for the sealed complaint.
Three other suspects – Elijah White, Nigel White, and Darian Pinchart – have appeared in court. Formal charges are expected against them in the coming weeks.
At a previous hearing, Deputy District Attorney Wendy Lemkuil suggested the three suspects have varying levels of involvement. Christopher Froelich, Nigel White’s attorney, pointed to Richardson as being the shooter in the case.
Investigators say someone Ramirez knew dropped him off at the hospital, where he died two days later.
