MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — The latest Marquette Law School Poll shows Governor Tony Evers’ approval rating dropping for the first time in almost two years.
48% approve of the job is Evers is doing, while 46% do not.
“He’s been over 50% all year, but he dipped under this time, though still more approved than disapproved by a point or two,” said poll director Charles Franklin. “This is the first time we’ve had him under 50 since during the 22 reelection campaign.”
The poll also found 44% of respondents say the state is headed in the right direction, while 56% said it’s on the wrong track. That was 46-53 last month.
