(WTAQ-WLUK) — The presidential race in Wisconsin has not changed very much in the past four weeks, according to the latest Marquette University Law School Poll.
The poll found 52% of likely voters supported Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, with 48% supporting Republican Donald Trump in a head-to-head matchup.
The four-point difference was just within the poll’s 4.4% margin of error.
This is the first Marquette poll taken since the Sept. 10 debate between Harris and Trump.
When third-party candidates were added to the poll, it was Harris with 49%, Trump with 44%, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with 3% and five other candidates totaling 3%.
Kennedy dropped out of the race in August and endorsed Trump. The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled last week that Kennedy’s name will remain on the Wisconsin ballot.
In the U.S. Senate race, the poll found 53% of likely voters supporting Democratic incumbent Tammy Baldwin, with 46% supporting Republican challenger Eric Hovde.
The partisan makeup of the sample is 35% Republican, 32% Democratic and 32% independent. The sample contains 738 likely voters, with a margin of error of +/-4.7 percentage points.
