WAUNAKEE, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Former President Donald Trump made a stop in Waunakee on Tuesday, one of two stops in Wisconsin.
Trump says Democrats’ New Green Deal plan failed.
“It as 93 trillion dollars!” said Trump. “They wanted to rip down all the buildings in Manhattan those, gorgeous buildings with those big beautiful windows, and they wanted to rebuild them without windows, because without windows, is more energy efficient.”
Trump also says he will crack down on immigration if he gets back in the White House.
“I will send in federal law enforcement to liberate every Midwestern town that has been taken over by migrant gangs and Criminal Alien thugs we will send them back and we will take back our country soon,” said Trump.
This was the first time a Republican presidential candidate made a stop in Dane County in almost 30 years.
Former Republican governors Scott Walker and Tommy Thompson warmed up the crowd prior to Trump’s remarks.
