GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — UPDATE: Green Bay police say they were asked to help the Brown County sheriff’s department serve an arrest warrant around the 1900 block of 9th Street. Two people were taken into custody.
Because the location was near Kennedy Elementary school, the building was placed into lockdown as a precaution.
The lockdown has since been lifted.

An elementary school on Green Bay’s west side is on lockdown because of a “community concern.”
Kennedy Elementary is in “secure the building – outside situation” status, the district posted on its social media channels.
The district assures that students are safe and the school day is continuing within the building as normal.
