APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A local artist is competing against the world’s best for All Stars Champion, and a $50,000 prize.
Carli Ihde of Appleton is a professional pumpkin carver on the hit show, Outrageous Pumpkins, on Food Network.
She creates larger-than-life masterpieces that defy imagination – all with pumpkins.
Sunday’s season 5 premier was the “Haunted Halloween Nightmares” episode.
Judges Terri Hardin and world-renowned pumpkin sculptor Deane Arnold will decide which team advances each week; nobody was eliminated in episode one.
The carvers goal is bringing terrifying nightmares to life: being chased, losing teeth, falling, naked in public, feeling lost, being trapped and bugs on you.
