(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers capped off the home portion of their regular season schedule with a wild game, falling behind 8-0 and then rallying for a 10-9 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Sunday.
It all started after Frankie Montas had a horrible start for the Brewers, giving up 8 runs in just 3 innings of work.
Montas talked about what happened during his start.
That’s when the Brewers fans started booing.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about what happened next.
Brewers shortstop Willy Adames was not happy getting booed.
Adames said that things didn’t look very good and then they did.
That’s when the Brewers went to work, slowly getting back into the game before rallying for 4 runs in the eighth inning, capped off by an infield single by Jake Bauers that scored Rhys Hoskins with the game-winning run.
Jared Koenig got the win for the Brewers to improve to 9-4.
Devin Williams got his 13th save of the season.
The Brewers are idle today. They kick off their final regular season road trip with the first of 3 games against the Pittsburgh Pirates Tuesday night.
