(WNFL) – The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will host the Quad Cities River Bandits in the second game of the best-of-3 Midwest League Western Division playoff series tonight at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.
The Timber Rattlers took a 1-game-to-none lead in the series on Tuesday with a 1-0 road win over Quad Cities.
Jadher Areinamo hit a home run in the fifth inning to account for the Timber Rattlers’ only run.
Alexander Cornielle, Mark Manfredi, and Tyler Bryant combined on the shut out for the Timber Rattlers.
Will Rudy will get the start for Wisconsin in tonight’s game. In 23 games (22 starts) for Wisconsin, Rudy went 6-8 with a 4.61 ERA.
Quad Cities has announced Ethan Bosacker as their starter. Bosacker has a 13-2 record with a 2.45 ERA.
The first pitch is slated for 6:40 tonight.
