Packers’ Josh Meyers on facing Eagles defense

(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers expect a formidable foe when they line up against the Philadelphia Eagles defense Friday night in Brazil.

Packers center Josh Myers talked about what to expect from the Eagles defensive line.

And about what to expect from the Eagles defense overall.

Myers said that the Packers will have some new looks for the Eagles defense to deal with.

As for whether or not traveling to Brazil will have an impact on him. Myers aid that the travel to London did.

While Myers was talking about the Eagles defense, wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks was talking about the potential of the Packers offense.

Packers add a running back: The Green Bay Packers signed Chris Brooks to the practice squad. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction on Tuesday.

Brooks (6-1, 219), a second-year player out of BYU, was originally signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. He played in nine games for the Dolphins as a rookie, recording 19 carries for 106 yards (5.6 avg.), and appeared in a postseason contest. Brooks spent four years at the University of California-Berkeley (2018-21) before spending one season at BYU (2022), where he registered 130 carries for 817 yards (6.3 avg.) and six TDs. His rushing average ranked No. 4 in single-season school history. Brooks will wear jersey No. 30 for the Packers.
