(WNFL) – The Green Bay Packers blasted the Baltimore Ravens 30-7 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay on a sun-drenched Saturday afternoon.
The Packers were dominant on a day where starters watched to see if they could figure out who would be with the team next week after final cuts are made, outgaining the Ravens 326-177.
E Merryweather and N McCrary led the Packers in rushing with 74 and 64 yards, respectively. Em. Wilson had 52 yards rushing.
Sean Clifford completed 6-of-14 passes for 53 yards while Michael Pratt was 8-of-12 for 80 yards. Both quarterbacks threw a touchdown pass while Pratt also got picked off once.
M Heath had 4 catches for 39 yards for the Packers.
Who the Packers will keep as their field goal kicker got more interesting in the game.
Greg Joseph had field goals of 36 and 55 yards while incumbent kicker Anders Carlson had a 54-yard field goal.
The Packers led 3-0 after the first quarter, 20-7 at halftime and 30-7 after three quarters.
Next up for the Packers are making cuts to the roster to get down the team limit of 53 players by 3 p.m. Central Time on Tuesday.
Then the Packers begin preparations for the regular season in Brazil against the Philadelphia Eagles on September 8.
