William Nell (Outagamie County/Zoom)
APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – William Nell pleaded not guilty Friday to allegedly providing the fentanyl which killed a man in June.
No trial date was set. Nell returns to court Oct. 21 for a pre-trial conference on the first-degree reckless homicide charge.
According to the criminal complaint, police were called to a Neenah home on June 3 for an overdose death.
Text messages on the victim’s phone had details of arranging a drug buy with Nell. They met at an Appleton convenience store on June 1 for the transaction, the complaint states.
