(WTAQ-WLUK) — A Madison man was sentenced last week to over five years in prison for the illegal possession of firearms.
Officials say 41-year-old Edlando Watson is a felon prohibited by law from ever possessing a firearm, due to his 2012 conviction for possession with the intent to distribute cocaine.
However, according to a news release, Watson “transported five firearms from his home in Madison to a storage facility in Appleton.”
After completing his 65-month prison sentence, Watson will spend three years on supervised release.
