Milwaukee Brewers batter Altanta Braves pitching

(LEARFIELD) – Willy Adames homered twice and the Milwaukee Brewers had all the runs they needed after a three-run top of the first as they wound up pounding the Atlanta Braves 10-0 in Atlanta on Tuesday.

A 16-hit offense backed shutout pitching from Colin Rea and reliever Joe Ross.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about the early success at the plate.

Rea gave credit for his success against the Braves to catcher William Contreras.

And how is Rea feeling with 50 games to go?

Adames finished with four hits and William Contreras added three more.

Rea earned his 10th win of the season.
