GREEN BAY, WI (WATQ-WLUK) — With the NFL Draft coming to Green Bay next year, the Packers Hall of Fame is offering a new exhibit for visitors to learn more about the event’s history.
Fans can view a timeline of the NFL Draft dating back to the 1930s — including the first time Wisconsin hosted the event, when the draft was held in Milwaukee in 1940.
Officials say the exhibit also showcases how Pro Football Hall of Fame General Manager Ron Wolf successfully found talent in the draft’s mid-to-late rounds, and how NFL teams use grading systems to assess risk when drafting players.
The temporary exhibit is open now. It is located on the first floor of the Packers Hall of Fame, adjacent to the community gallery. The Hall of Fame is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on non-gameday Sundays.
