OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One man was pronounced dead after a train-vs.-pedestrian crash in Sunday night in Oshkosh.
The crash happened at about 6:53 p.m. on E. Parkway Avenue and the tracks. The 23-year-old male was struck by the northbound train, according to OPD Officer Kate Mann.
As of 8:30 p.m., the train is being held on the scene for the investigation. As a result, the tracks south of the scene to East 15th Avenue will be closed.
