NEW LONDON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Police in New London say a 4-year-old child was taken to a local hospital after being found non-responsive in a swimming pool.
According to a press release from police, first responders were dispatched to a home in the city of New London at 3:45 Saturday afternoon.
“The 4-year-old was wearing a personal floatation device when they were found non-responsive,” the release states.
New London police say CPR was started on the child before law enforcement arrived, and continued when first responders arrived on the scene.
The 4-year-old was reported to have a pulse when being transported to ThedaCare New London.
