APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Two nonprofits in Outagamie County received ARPA funds.
The county awarded $1,500,000 to Pillars Inc. and $750,000 to NEW Mental Health Connection to ensure operations of vital behavioral health initiatives in our community.
The grants stem from Outagamie County’s strategic decision to allocate $2.75 million of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds towards Behavioral and Mental Health.
Both Pillars Inc. and NEW Mental Health Connection play crucial roles in addressing behavioral health needs in Outagamie County.
A check ceremony with both organizations is being planned for later this month.
