GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Bellin Run is this weekend in Green Bay, and organizers say participants, volunteers, spectators and motorists, should be prepared.
The 48th annual Bellin Run will take place at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 8.
The Bellin Run will not offer its shuttle program on race day this year. Those participating in the race, as well as spectators and volunteers should leave themselves plenty of time to park their vehicles and make their way to the start line.
There will also be a number of road closures for Friday and Saturday.
Emergency room access to both Bellin and St. Vincent hospitals will not be hindered during the road race and related events.
The Bellin Run is set to kick off race weekend with a range of family-friendly activities on Friday at Astor Park. The Friday events set the stage for the Bellin 10K and 5K on Saturday morning.
The Bellin Run welcomes runners and walkers of all levels and abilities. Registration is available online.
Online registration for the Bellin Run is $40 per person through Saturday, June 1 and $45 from June 2-6. In-person registration at the Friday, June 7 expo in Astor Park is $50.
The half-mile Children’s Run (ages 10 and younger) will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, June 7. The registration fee is $15 per participant through June 6, when online registration ends. In-person registration on Friday, June 7 will be $20 per participant.
