GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — West High School was on lockdown for a brief period Monday.
The Green Bay Area Public School District said in a social media post the lockdown was a “precautionary measure” and the result of an “outside situation.”
A short time later, GBAPS updated the post to say the school was no longer on lockdown.
“Please know that all students are safe and the school day will continue within the building as normal,” the district wrote in the original post.
At this time, no details regarding the situation that caused the lockdown have been released.
