CALUMET COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – An 18-year-old man is dead after his motorcycle rear-ended a boat being towed by a truck in Calumet County.
The County Sheriff’s Office was called to the intersection of County Trunk Highway HH and Meyer Road just after 7 p.m. Tuesday in the town of New Holstein.
A preliminary investigation shows that the 18-year-old rear-ended a boat being towed by a truck. The 18-year-old died at the scene. Officials say he’s from New Holstein. County officials say speed was a factor in the crash.
The two occupants in the truck were not injured.
