GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-METRO) – Authorities in Brown County say they’ve already taken more meth off the streets so far this year than they did in all of 2022 and 2023, combined.
The Brown County Drug Task Force yesterday released its first quarter numbers. The Task Force says it seized over 38 pounds of meth in the first three months of this year. A single drug bust back in February that included 30 pounds of meth drove most of that total.
The Task Force’s Lieutenant Matt Ronk says huge quantities of meth are moving through the area, despite concerns about fentanyl and other drugs.
