MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — A day ahead of his Green Bay campaign rally, former President Donald Trump was on the air, repeating false claims about his 2020 election loss to Joe Biden in Wisconsin
“We won in Wisconsin as you know the first time. The second time we did much better, but I guess it was delayed. They found out a lot of wrongdoing, and after the wrongdoing was found people said ‘Well he actually did win.’ But what are you going to do? You know it’s pretty sad stuff,” said Trump.
Trump won Wisconsin in 2016. While he did get more votes in 2020, he also lost to Biden by some 20,000 votes.
Recounts confirmed the results, and there was no evidence of widespread fraud or wrongdoing.
Trump was on WISN radio’s “Dan O’Donnell Show.” The conservative host did not refute Trump’s false claims.
The former president will speak to a crowd in Green Bay later this afternoon.
Trump said he will highlight his plans for a second term, including a much tougher policy on the southern border and what he’s calling ‘immigrant crime.’ Trump said he will have ‘no choice’ but to deport people who are in this country illegally and who are committing crimes.
The rally will be at the Hyatt Regency/KI Convention Center in downtown Green Bay, beginning at 5 p.m.
WTAQ will carry the rally with converge starting at 4:45 p.m.
