CLINTONVILLE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — H&S Manufacturing will close its Clintonville facility, consolidating operations to its Marshfield location.
“The manufacturing operations will be shutting down sometime in late 2024 and the R&D facility will close sometime in early 2025,” said Craig Harthoorn, managing director.
The company did not say how many jobs would be eliminated. Employees can apply for positions in Marshfield, and some hybrid-remote opportunities may be available, he said.
“Yesterday was a difficult but important day for our division. A reduction of this size is a hard but necessary phase to position ourselves for continued success. The decision to right-size our team is a crucial step towards forging a stronger, more efficient Hay & Forage Division. The Hay & Forage Division must be defined by continuous improvement and operational excellence as we seek to deliver innovative products that drive customer value,” Harthoorn said.
According to its website, the company makes a variety of farm implements, including bale processors, mixers, hay tedders, and rakes.
