GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Winterfest on Broadway presented by Green Bay Packers Give Back is set for Saturday, January 20 from 11a.m. – 3p.m. in the Broadway District.
This family-friendly event will offer plenty of winter-themed sights, smells, sounds, activities and fun for all ages.
Both indoor and outdoor activities are planned and include:
- Horse-drawn carriage rides
- Ice sculptures (including the interactive sculpture; perfect for a winter photo op)
- S’more making
- Food and drinks
You can also participate in the Candy Land Scavenger Hunt presented by Fox Communities Credit Union. Find and stop in at the marked businesses on your map, then turn your map in to win a prize! Participating businesses can be found here.
The winter-themed fun continues with a stop by Red Sculpture Park. Support six local nonprofits as they host various games and activities for kids of all ages.
New this year, is the ice climbing wall presented by Odyssey Climbing & Fitness.
The much-anticipated Broadway District Soup Contest is back this year and attendees are invited to taste and vote for their favorite of four popular soups crafted by Broadway District restaurateurs. The contest will be housed inside Old Fort Square (233 N Broadway) while supplies last. Soup Contest punch cards are $5.00 and include samples of each soup and a voting ballot.
Additionally, inside Old Fort Square, take time to peruse assorted art and craft vendors.
