(WNFL) MILWAUKEE – Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 48 points but that couldn’t save the Bucks from a 112-108 defeat at the hands of the Houston Rockets on Saturday.
Damian Lillard and Khris Middleton added 18 and 10 points, respectively, for the Bucks who have now lost 3 of their last 4 games. Lillard and Middleton scored the points despite cold shooting. The duo made just 8-of-25 field goal attempts.
Alperen Sengun led Houston with 21 points and had 11 rebounds while Jabari Smith Jr had a double double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
The Rockets had 7 players score in double figures includng Jalen Green and Jeff Green both scoring 16 points and Fred Van Vleet added 14.
The Bucks are idle Sunday but play host to the Utah Jazz on Monday. The game starts at 7 with the pre-game at 6:30 p.m. on 1440 and 101.9 WNFL.
