The Milwaukee Brewers traded away a couple of minor league prospects to the Kansas City Royals to acquire right handed relief pitcher Taylor Clarke. Clarke has been on big league clubs for the past five years, playing a bit for Arizona before joining the Royals where he appeared in 58 games last season with two starts. His earned run average was a beefy 5.95. Clarke becomes the 39th player on Milwaukee’s 40 man roster. The Brewers sent pitcher Ryan Brady and infielder Cam Devenney to the Royals in return for Clarke who’s expected to make a strong bid to become a part of Milwaukee’s bullpen in 2024.
