(WNFL) – The St. Norbert College men’s basketball team defeated Aurora University 81-72 in Aurora, Illinois on Saturday.
Garrett Grzesk led the Green Knights with 20 points. Jamison Nickolai added 14 while Aidan Harrington added 11 and Evan Glaser 10.
Aurora which led 42-40 at halftime was led by Isaiah Davis with 19 points.
St. Norbert took the lead for good with 8:54 left in the game on a layup by Brandt Wilson off a pass from Evan Glaser.
St. Norbert shot 53 percent for the game while Aurora shot 45 percent.
The Green Knights had a 34-19 lead in rebounding. Nickolai had 9 rebounds for SNC.
Women’s basketball
Aurora 88, St. Norbert 81
Aurora outscored St. Norbert 10-3 in overtime to pick up the win.
Gabrielle Wolff led Aurora with 33 points.
SNC was led by Casey Jepson with 17 points. Taylor Thiry added 16 while Kalina Winslow and Emma Morrisey had 14 and 10 points, respectively.
Aurora shot 47 percent for the game. SNC shot 43 percent.
