TOWN OF OMRO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One person died and another was injured in a Winnebago County crash Wednesday morning.
At 7:47 a.m., crews responded to State Highway 21 and E. Scott Street in the town of Omro for a two-vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, first responders found the driver of one of the vehicles to be unconscious. Life-saving measures were performed but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
The highway reopened just before 11:15 a.m.
