GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A portion of Highway 172 in Brown County between I-41 and the eastbound WIS 172 off-ramp will be closed temporarily to complete the erection of a guardrail.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), a full closure will be implemented on eastbound Highway 172 between I-41 and the eastbound WIS 172 off-ramp to northbound/southbound I-41.
The closure will take place in two parts:
- 6 p.m. on Oct. 2 through 11 a.m. on Oct. 3
- 6 p.m. on Oct. 3 through 11 a.m. on Oct. 4
There will be no signed detour. Motorists can exit to southbound I-41 and utilize the I-41/Oneida Street on and off-ramps to make a U-turn and access northbound I-41 to rejoin eastbound Highway 172.
