KIMBERLY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Approximately 3,000 bike riders participated in the 2023 Bike to the Beat on Saturday, a day-long family event.
The annual event is filled with fun, camaraderie, live music, and a wide variety of free food, beer, and other beverages. All ages and skill levels are welcome with two starting locations, including De Pere and Combined Locks, and multiple routes to choose from ranging from 7 miles all the way up to 57 miles. Bikers are offered multiple stops along the way – encouraged to stop and travel at their own pace.
All monies raised at Bike to the Beat support the Fox Cares Foundation and its mission of ending homelessness, fighting hunger, and providing access to the arts. Donations are accepted until August 13.
This year’s event far exceeded previous years with nearly 3,000 bikers and $93 thousand for the foundation.
