GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A driver accused of crashing into a Green Bay building was arrested on suspicion of OWI, police say.
Officers were called to the 900 block of S. Webster Avenue around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a SUV that crashed into a building and drove away.
The suspected vehicle was located within five minutes of the call near Porlier and S. Clay Streets.
Emergency responders were called to evaluate the 45-year old driver of the vehicle for any injuries.
Initial reports by witnesses indicated that the vehicle had gone through a red light before crashing, police say.
No one was inside of the building at the time of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
