FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An arrest has been made in connection with a traffic crash which killed two teens.
Nevins Zoch, 16, and Tommy Koenigs, 16, were killed in the Jan. 21 crash. A girl was also injured.
Authorities believe the vehicle had been speeding westbound on Golf Course Drive in the town of Taycheedah, lost control, and entered the north shoulder, striking a tree on the north side of the road. The sheriff’s department said alcohol was also a factor in the crash.
According to Fond du Lac County jail records, a 27-year-old woman was arrested on a recommended charge of providing alcohol to a minor resulting in death. The sheriff’s department confirmed the arrest is connected to the Jan. 21 crash.
Formal charges could be filed this week, according to the district attorney’s office.
