BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — With warmer days surely ahead, Brown County Parks opened some bike and horse trails for the season.
Starting at 8 a.m. Monday, the Reforestation Camp mountain bike and horse trails in Suamico, and the Fox River Trail horse trails opened.
Meanwhile, Neshota Park horse trails near Denmark will open the next Monday, May 8 at 8 a.m.
Some things to note while using the trails:
- Please be a good trail steward and remain off the trails after heavy rains.
- Purchase your trail pass before riding.
- Failure to possess a valid pass will result in a $10 violation notice and a requirement to purchase an annual pass.
- Passes can be purchased at trailheads or online.
County trail passes (Reforestation Camp & Neshota) are: $5/day or $30/year.
State trail passes (Fox River Trail) are: $5/day or $25/year.
