HOWARD, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — About a quarter-acre of vegetation burned in a fire Wednesday afternoon.
Howard Fire Rescue says the fire was along Velp Avenue just south of Lineville Road.
Firefighters say a worker was cutting railroad track for repair when sparks from a rotary saw ignited the blaze.
There was no damage to the surrounding area.
