Anindita Anaam
APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Appleton has a new manager for communications and public engagement.
Mayor Jake Woodford announced Monday the appointment of Anindita Anaam.
Anaam holds a Master’s degree in political science with an emphasis in international relations from the University from Delhi. She also holds a Master’s in communications and public relations from the Indian Institute of Mass Communications.
Through her city role, Anaam will oversee different initiatives to engage with the community, such as managing the city’s social media accounts and working with local media outlets.
Anaam previously served as a communications manager for fintech company. She also led communications for the Oconto Unified School District.
Anaam has received multiple awards for her work in school communication.
