TOWN Of SCOTT, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One person is now dead after a Sheboygan County chase.
Thursday evening at around 7:53 p.m., a Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office Deputy tried stopping a vehicle for a traffic violation on State Highway 28.
The vehicle did not stop, resulting in a chase.
The suspect eventually lost control of the vehicle and drove off the road, rolling on State Highway 28 south of Highway 144.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and has been identified as a 30 year-old male from Kewaskum.
Wisconsin State Patrol responded to investigate the crash.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation of the incident.
No other vehicles were involved.
