The shorthanded Milwaukee Bucks still had plenty to pull away from the undermanned Detroit Pistons Monday night in the Motor City, 126-117. Giannis Antetokounmpo gave his sore knee a rest and Jrue Holiday sat out for a personal reason. Khris Middleton picked up the slack with a game high 34 points. Jevon Carter added 22 thanks to 6 three point hits and Bobby Portis contributed another double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds. The game was tight until the 4th quarter when the Bucks steadily pulled away for the victory. Milwaukee improves to 54-21 on the season, the best record in the NBA and they are now two full games up on the second place Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference race with 7 games left in the regular season. Detroit is enduring the worst season in the league, dropping to 16-59. Milwaukee wraps up the road trip with a date against the Indiana Pacers Wednesday night.
