GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An event that brings music and medicine together continues to make a difference in Brown County.
Doctors in Recital is an event where area physicians show off their musical talents for a good cause.
Its January show raised $67,500 to be donated to area nonprofits that promote health and wellness as well as music and art in the community.
On Friday, checks were presented to three area organizations:
- The Friends of Brown County Community Gardens received $42,500
- Birder Studio for the Performing Arts received $17,000
- East High School Choral Department received $8,000
Since 2006, Doctors in Recital has raised over half of a million dollars for local charities.
The 2024 show is already being planned for Saturday, January 27.
