(WTAQ-WLUK) — With three weeks to go before the April 4 spring election, voters can now see sample ballots.
To find out which races and questions will appear on your ballot, visit the MyVote Wisconsin website. That’s also where voters can register to vote, request an absentee ballot and find where to vote.
All Wisconsin voters will choose between Dan Kelly and Janet Protasiewicz for state Supreme Court justice. All ballots will also include two questions about amending the state constitution to reform criminal bail procedures. All ballots will also include a non-binding question on whether able-bodied, childless welfare recipients should be required to look for work.
Many communities will also have local races and referendums for voters to decide.
As election day approaches, deadlines are also looming. Wednesday is the deadline for voters to register by mail and online. Registration can be done in-person at clerks’ offices and on election day at polling places.
Early voting, formally called “in-person absentee voting,” can begin as soon as March 21. Voters can see options at the MyVote Wisconsin website.
The deadline to request an absentee ballot is March 30 for most voters. Absentee ballots must be returned to clerks by 8 p.m. on election day.
