APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man who stole a skid-steer and led police on a chase through Appleton and Grand Chute was convicted Friday.
Tyler Peschke, 38, pleaded no contest to charges of drunken driving, fourth offense, and eluding an officer. Two other counts, including taking a vehicle without consent, were dropped.
Sentencing is scheduled for April 28.
Grand Chute police were made aware of a stolen skid-steer headed toward the town on Feb. 24, 2022. It traveled on multiple streets before police were able to safely approach it. Peschke was removed from the vehicle and taken into custody.
