GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Are you ready to rage? Green Bay’s first rage room, Asylum Rage Room, can handle any temper tantrum.
After opening last month, Asylum Rage Room is ready for you to let your frustrations out by throwing plates and glasses, beating up TVs, and more.
“They all get the same look when they throw something and it breaks. They’re like ‘Oh my God I can’t believe I did that’,” said Owner Cameron Cunningham. “I don’t get sick of seeing that.”
Asylum Rage Room opened on February 14, and has been partnering with St. Vincent de Paul. Asylum Rage Room buys the items on the shelf that have been there for too long and can’t sell.
“I know we’re breaking the stuff, but we’re repurposing it. ” said Cunningham. “It was going to go in the landfill. Once I found that out, I basically asked St. Vincent de Paul if I could buy their garbage.”
You can even bring your own items to break for a rate of $30.
In terms of recycling broken items, Asylum Rage Room also partners with e-cycle to make sure all electronic waste is disposed of properly.
Asylum Rage Room is located at 790 Borvan Ave. in Green Bay, less than five minutes away from Lambeau Field. Prices range from $15-40.
