FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Fond du Lac man was arrested, accused of possessing child pornography.
The investigation began with a cyber tip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which alleged there was possession and/or distribution of videos of sexually explicit conduct of prepubescent children.
On Sept. 28, 2022 officers served a search warrant in the 600 block of S. Main Street. Several electronic devices were seized and forensically examined. Investigators say there were numerous images and videos of child pornography involving prepubescent and pubescent females stored on the seized devices.
As a result, a 28-year-old man was taken into custody Tuesday.
The man is being held at the Fond du Lac County jail on 10 counts of child pornography possession.
