GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Early Tuesday morning saw four busses completely destroyed in a fire at Aspiro in Green Bay.
Aspiro provides services to individuals with disabilities. Nicole Hoffmann, Vice President of Development, says they were able to get clients to jobs they needed to go to, but could not provide their community outing to go bowling.
Many other organizations are helping Aspiro with transportation; New Hope Center in Chilton is lending them a bus and Oneida Transport is taking clients on community outings.
Aspiro set up a Go Fund Me on Tuesday. So far, about $20 thousand has been raised toward their $130 thousand goal. $130 thousand is the cost of a new replacement bus.
A fifth bus also caught fire, but may be salvageable. This bus has heat damage and a broken out window from the heat. Fire investigators are still working to determine if that bus may be repairable.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
