GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The victim in a shooting on Green Bay’s east side earlier this month has been identified.
Police say Edgar Rodriguez-Hernandez, 27, was killed Feb. 11 at his home on Clayton Place. A 24-year-old man who was related to Rodriguez-Hernandez was seriously injured. He has since been released from the hospital. Police did not release his name.
A pair of brothers have been charged in the killing. Jose Hernandez, 23, and Omar Hernandez, 24, are both charged with being party to the crime of first-degree intentional homicide and attempted homicide.
According to the criminal complaints, the shooting was the continuation of a fight which happened at a bar a few hours earlier.
Omar Hernandez is due back in court Wednesday. Jose Hernandez is due back in court Friday.
