(Reuters) – Tesla Inc has been weighing a takeover of battery metals miner Sigma Lithium Corp, Bloomberg News reported on Friday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
U.S.-listed shares of Sigma up 21% in trading after the bell.
Tesla and Sigma Lithium did not immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment.
