KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Kaukauna school is hoping the community’s generosity has a domino effect.
The students at Victor Haen Elementary School joined the statewide “Do Good Wisconsin Cereal Box Challenge.”
The school will compete against other schools of its size across the state to collect the most cereal boxes to be donated to local food pantry, Loaves and Fishes.
The second part of the challenge is to creatively use those cereal boxes to make a domino path throughout the school and film it.
School officials say so far they’ve collected about 200 cereal boxes with a goal of 500.
If you or your business would like to help the school reach its goal, you can drop off cereal boxes at the school or call them and someone can come pick them up. The drive ends Feb. 24.
The video must be submitted by National Cereal Day on March 7.
The school that wins either of those challenges gets a trophy.
